HIya folks - new to this forum but hope to contribute whenever i can.
I have a small question that I'm unable to find an answer to elsewhere.
I looking to buy a Landis&gyr 5235 meter ( or equivalent) but one which has been programmed to display rED and stall the flashing LED upon reverse energy detection.
My existing NEDL meter does this when exporting solar power so I know it's not impossible.
I think these meters can be programmed via optical port to set certain perameters, but as of yet, been unable to find a supplier.
My next step would be to contact L&G but I doubt they'd supply to a private individual.

For info - this meter would be wired backwards in series with supplier meter, to help with diverting excess generated excess solar power from my 4kw system.

Anyone know where i could obtain one?
Alistair

Hi - yes - tried google - ebay - amazon etc etc - these meters are available but without the rED parameter set up (- hence my request on this fantastic forum!!)
I have been in contact with a guy on ebay who sells refurb'ed and reset meters but he was unwilling to trawl through his stock and possibly didn't have optical programming gear to fulfill my request.
I guess I should have asked if anybody has optical programming equipment who could program a meter for me ( for a fee of course)
