Hi,

I was just wondering what the best way to connect PVC to steel conduit is? I was thinking PVC male adaptor and a steel conduit coupler?

Yep thats the way i do it as long as you are not relying on the conduit as an earth or if the conduit neads to be earthed

Or you can just use a female plastic bush cupler and throw the bush away

Save yourself a fitting and thread the end.

He's saying if you have a rigid threader you can thread the RMC and use a rigid coupling to the pvc MA instead.

If you don't have a threader then you have the correct way of doing it.

I've seen people run 3" underground PVC with rigid 90s so the muletape doesn't cut into the 90 and ruin the whole pull.

Yes you are right, male adaptor will do it or even a small adapt box with the conduit fixed each side. If the metal conduit was used as an earth / secondary earth then put a earth clamp on it and run a single earth cable through a gland on the side of the box to the end destination and terminate appropriatly.
