45 DSOs is a lot for a small terrace, assuming they are doubles.

Pricing per point is a good starting point for sure, but with that many sockets I would reduce the price per point. Sounds to me like they may want 3xDSO by TV, by desk etc... So given that there will likely be small banks of sockets the price should come down in my view.

I never mention data and comms cables normally, forgetful on my part, but I often find the customer wants coax and leccy sorting out only.

EDIT: just reread the OP and saw it not for a small terrace! So price full whack for sockets!!

To the OP. I have just done an invoice for a cooker cct on a RCBO in 6mm with a 20m run under the floor through three rooms. Charged £230.00. Took approx 5 hrs to do.

Break the various aspects of the job down into sections to get your rough price. i.e. board change and testing 1 day, bonding half a day, etc etc.

I know you've put that as your lowest Andy, but that's what I've just charged for a 3 bed and there definitely wasn't 45 sockets! The sockets alone at £50 p/point come to £2250 and then there's all the other bits that Murdoch has mentioned.

I know it's impossible to say 'how much' without the full spec and actually seeing the property but from a wildly inexperienced rewire point of view I would say a minimum of £4500, probably a few thousand more.

I know £3.5k is low, that's why I said "based on the info given" which is sockets, lights, cooker and shower all in an empty property.
I obviously have not included for all the things I would usually include, nor all the things Murdoch has rightly mentioned for consideration, in the lower price I gave.

The point I was trying to make was that nowhere near enough info was provided.
