Hi,

I'm replacing a Main Bond to Water which needs to run across a kitchen.

The ideal route would be straight across the floor because, at the moment, it is yet to receive a final 'skim' of 50mm and will then be tiled over.

Is it acceptable to run it like this - which I suppose is similar to running under plaster in a wall - or is it required to have mechanical protection?

Cheers

for what it costs, i would run it in 20mm pvc conduit. mechanical and chemical protection, and rewireable

Yeh, that's possibly the best option - and as you say, not expensive.

I know the 'Regs' refer to buried 'Earthing Conductors', I just couldn't remember if the requirement extended to 'bonding conductors'.

Thanks:)

Do you have flexible tubing for running singles in if so i would be tempted to run it in that
