Hi,

Got a quick question from a friend who's not a member of this forum, and has a job coming up.

Basically, what is the best method to split a 3 phase supply, so that each phase is supplying an individual fuseboard. Rather than all 3 going to a 3 phase board???

e.g phase 1 will supply fuseboard 1
phase 2 will supply fuseboard 2
phase 3 will supply fuseboard 3

Cheers

ok great. so the neutral from the meter would go to a henley block and then come off that 3 times to the supply sides of each switch fused 100a isolator with the phases too???

basically its like a 10 bed mansion/house which has a 3 phase board at the moment. the customer wants the board on the reverse side of the wall its on now. so cables should be long enough. but he doesn't want a big 3 phase board, he would rather have 3 individual consumer units.
so the runs from the meter will be more or less the same, so volt drop on the wouldn't really come into it.

was thinkin about that but was just thinkinseparate isolation for each board might be handier long term. wasnt thinkin about volt drop but rcd protection if the sub mains were travelling

yeah that could work too if they dont mind having one point of isolation. so can you come off of that with more than 1 neutral???
