sponsorship for ecs card

hi guys, i am an adult trainee and have a question about the sponsorship section on the application form for an ecs card. as far as i can tell they are after your employer to fill this section in. is there a way you can do it if you are self employed. like could i use someone who i have been working for subcontracted, or could i do it myself, or even my old college.

any advise would be very helpful.

if you're self employed, i think you should just use your trading title as employer. afaik, they just need someone to invoice and get paid .
