Spoke to a mate today who said someone he knows is going to Milton keynes and paying £250 and he gets a jib card there and then.....his highest qual he has is 2330 level 2?

This surely can't be right?

Mate I know were you can pay £300.00 and get a full HGV driving licence so nothing surprises me.

In these difficult times.it wont be long before the £300 will get you the HGV licence but with a Lorry thrown in as a bonus

You can get a JIB card with qualification, but it won't be a gold one more like a electrical improver or labourer.

You wouldnt even be graded that high. When I was at college, I had my level 2 2330, ECS H & S certificate and 17th edition...
I was graded as an "adult trainee" level 2!!!lol

I thought it was in Kent - you could turn up and get your card the same day for a premium, but with level 2 2330 you'd only be getting graded as an ancillary operative.
I had 2330 level 3, ECS H&S, 17th edition and 2377 and I only got a 'trainee electrician (stage 1)'.
I might reapply when I've done my NVQ3.
