hi guys i dont do alot of work on tt setups in my area, just done a few bits, new ring and lighting circuit for an extension, do i need to include earth rod resistance on my eic? thanks in advance

That depends on how you measure the Ra....most use a loop impedance tester and test at the CU as you would for any Ze, this then is obviously your Ze for the install.

If you do a proprietory test with an earth electrode tester & current and potential spikes (difficult in a domestic install in a street) the Ra will be different to the Ze you would do due to the natuer of the test and instrument used etc, although not much.

Either way the Ra is recorded as the Ze for the install.
