I have a bathroom fan with a moisture detector that turns it on and off. It also has a control circuit to turn it on/off when moisture is not connected. This is a no voltage/no current circuit.

I want to add a parallel control circuit that would of course be no load no current that I can turn on/off by Wi-Fi (Alexa) - I realize that operating current (5v or 12v) would also be needed. I need to know what to look for on Amazon to get a switch that operates like as described. I link(s) below that shows one I think will work.

Generically I thought this type of switch was called a "dry contact" (with WIFI) switch but I get all sorts of switches in response to that search. Most show loads on the output - would any switch with an external power supply work the way I want simply providing connectivity even though the "Load" across the output was in actuality zero?

Thank You

FYI I need this switch so I (or more likely my wife) can tell Alexa to turn the bathroom fan on for x minutes - she says some times my S*** does stink!
