Going to see about a pay rise now its the start of the new financial year, I've not had one for years.
Time served with 2391 test and inspection employed based in west yorkshire.
Just wondered what a realistic hourly rate is these days.

"On the books" ?? So fixed hours per week normal job or you actually get paid by the hour ??

The last time I was cards in was back in 2008 or 9 , and I was on £32,000 pa + fully expensed company van , testers etc

All I used of my own was hand tools , impact etc

Mainly doing work in extremely posh houses in and around Surry and South London. Lots of fault finding / call out stuff

Pretty much what Delroy (Easyway Electrical) does

A good starting point would be to may be look at the JIB Industrial Determination to compare against what you are getting now again if you look at the recruitment sites that may give you some pointers

Did that use to have more categories ? I sure I can remember going back a few year negotiations involving supervision over more than one site and there being fairly clear guidelines in the JIB book?

Are you thinking of the JIB handbook and the National Working Rules
