I replaced a standard light switch for a dimmer when I was 14 in my bedroom, turned off at the board etc and replaced. switched it back on all working fine apart from the finger plate. switch back off and bang woops ouch and a fly across the bedroom. straight across the chest and felt like i had a dead arm for a few days. apart from the school boy error i didn`t think it was bad for a 14 year old.
