Ive had a week of faults i can tell you last week major ring fault ,also this one tripping RCD in a pub 10.30 on the on a friday no other time !!! yes i here you say a time clock switching on ,answer to the no time clock on any of the circuits . loose all the tills every time it trips , it had had a new CDU a couple of years ago , and the sparks who put it in must have been domesticated ,the board covers 4 circuits lounge bar , public bar , general public bar and cellar sockets all on one RCD and lighting on the unprotected side , so first thing test all the circuits all ok with appliances un plugged , test RCD appeared ok but replaced just in case , friday 10.30 tripped , so last week back again re tested all circuits , all ok , removed the RCD and installed RCBO's for the circuits , tested all appliances , replaced a few beer covered sockets tested all ok , friday comes along ,10.30 RCBO trips ,this time wouldnt reset yipee i thought now i can trace the fault , so today ive located the fault to an area where we replaced some damaged sockets tested ok the previouse weeks IR readings >200 meg , so unplug every thing nothing plugged in tested continuity open circuit on one socket odd as this was in the middle of what i thought was a Radial run , tested from the board >200 tested at the socket on the L to E and the reading was 0.03 meg , mmmm i thought , so it was out with the fein and cut out a panel the sockets the sockets were mounted to absolute pig to get out removed panel and the fault revealed its ugly head ,RAT chewed a cable from one end to the other what a pain no sign of the rodent but the damage was apparent , so it was rewire the sockets under the floors which again was a pig , but this time i enclosed the cables in plastic coated metal conex all day job retested and all ok ,why at 10.30 every friday ive no idea ,the cable had got wet this week and a arc burn was apparent , so yet another fault found , i do supose that every friday night at 10.30 some fury rodent got rat arsed

I will say chaps if your doing a CDU upgrade job in pubs hotels shops etc try to avoide 17th and split load boards if you can use RCBO's if required because to fault find its much easier
