Hi, I bought my Zanussi ZCV663MWC cooker ten years ago, I replaced the top element four months ago and its been fine until now. When I turn the top oven on it heats up then after ten minutes it trips the mains. Also I have never used the bottom oven but when I turned it on it also tripped the mains but this was after just two minutes. The four hot plates are working fine, could anybody help please.

It's possible that (at least) the bottom element has absorbed moisture, while not being used for a long time. It would be worth turning it on a couple more times to heat, and see if the time taken to trip gets longer (as the moisture has a chance to escape the ends of the element), ultimately hopefully it would no longer trip.
I don't like breakers being repeatedly tripped, but a couple of attempts shouldn't hurt.

If your upper element hasn't been used for a while, the same may apply. Otherwise it maybe suggests a fault with it.
