Hi. I'm currently doing a 2 day C&G 2377 course.

We've been given some mock exams, their are two question that I am stuck on.

Can anyone help, preferably also with the page in the 4th Edition COP that I can find the answer.

1. Where equipment has a protective conductor current designed to exceed 3.5mA, one requirement is that a label is fixed adjacent to the equipment primary power connection, which includes the wording.....

a. Possibility of high touch current.
b. danger high touch current.
c presence of high touch current.
d. warning: high protective conductor current.

2. Equipment with an earth leakage current designed to exceed 3.5mA shall:

a. have a label permanently fixed indicating the value of the leakage current.
b. have internal protective conductors of not less than 0.5mm2 csa
c. be permanently wired or supplied by a plug and socket to BS 4343 (BS EN 60309-2)
d only used in industrial situations

Hi,

Yes I can answer those, but as tel says; what do you think the answers are and why? If we give you the answers you don't learn anything.

Regards.

Stu ask for access to the trainee area, I've found loads of helpful stuff looking through it

Thanks for you help.

I got 96% in the exam, not quite the 100% I had hoped for but it's only going to say 'pass' on the certificate.

had a slight moment when I clicked on 'finish' on the computer, we'd been told to expect the result immediately but instead the computer went back to desktop. I had to get the tutor to log on and pull up the result!

Thats whats meant to happen, the invigilator needs to get your result from secure assess. Well done on passing, contrary to popular belief this exam isn't as easy as some would have you believe.
