Hi.
I am building a timer circuit to control a servo. I have an Acoms as-17 servo. I want to make the circuit turn the motor clockvise 90° and then counter-clockvise 90°. I have been trying to build the circuits but they all fail. They just make the servo make a little bit of sound but does not move at all.
Are ALL servos using the approxamatly 1ms to 2ms (1.5ms being the middle position)?

I can't seem to see what I am doing wrong.

Thanks in advance
Simmi

If the servo is making noise at the correct time then your 555 chip is probably working fine. I would guess it's a power problem - is the output voltage/amperage sufficient to run the servo?

To be honest mate this is an electricians forum not an electronics forum, you may be best asking elsewhere.....
