Does anyone know where I could get hold of a 700W high bay fitting? I need the circular type with a reflector to replace a faulty unit. My customer is not interested in converting to LED at present, just wants the failed unit replaced.

Makes no sense.

Swap it for a LED of equivalent output. It will probably be cheaper the sourcing a 700w discharge fitting.

I presume you have called the wholesalers?

Yes, I have spoken to wholesalers. LED does not give the same light as mercury, this is apparently important as the hall is used for badminton/tennis. It would be okay if we changed all six fittings to LED with the appropriate gel but they do not have the budget for this.

I still don't understand, the LED equivalent colour temp and wattage would be fine for knocking a yellow fluffy ball around

The 700w lamps with a E40 cap seem easy to get, just no fittings.

Is the fitting 100% dead? New cap or ballast maybe?
