Agency scum bags wont pay, first time this has happened to me, sometimes they're fast, sometimes they drag their feet but in the end i always got paid

its been 8 weeks now
they've been avoiding my calls
they dont answer my emails

what can i do
what course of action can i take?

has this happened to any of you guys, how did you go about in getting the money that was owed to you

Are they still going?
If so, I'd be on my way down there....

Depends how much they owe you as the train ride could be worthwhile. I would probably go anyway even if it wasn't worthwhile out of principle!

how do i go about doing a ccj, you took one out in the past? did you get what you was owed

first time anything like this has happened to me so i'm wet behind the ears in regards to ccj, small claims etc and how to proceed

I see a lot of members have advised you to get yourself down there, I'm not sure exactly what they think that will achieve other than more debt. Download a court order form (N1), fill it in and send it to them telling them this is the form you are going to escalate the debt to the courts to if they don't pay you, it will work in 99% of cases. If they are genuinely down on the bones of their arses you won't get anything anyway. Maybe the location should have given you a clue lol are eh, are one, are two (that's a scouser doing an EICR)

Something doesn't sound right to me, why would they avoid answering your calls and e-mails over a couple of hundred quid? there must be more to it.

I had trouble getting paid through an agency once. Turned out it was actually the umbrella company being incompetent.
In that instance the agency were based in Southampton so I was able to go in there and sort it out, but I still haven't worked for them again, and probably wouldn't.

Which agency was it?
