Hey all,

Just a quick query.

If the main incoming water to a property is copper and the consumers side has a mixture of copper and PVC, is there a requirement to supplementary bond between the copper parts?

I had a look in the regs but still unsure.

My take on it is to bond at the incoming water and gas on the consumers side. Providing the disconnections times are met and 30mA RCD protection is in place then supplementary bonding is not required.

Advice much appreciated.

Thanks
