Complaints procedure & HASWA

Hi Guys & Gals,

Can any one tell me were I can get hold of a comlaints procedure and a copy of the HASAWA to show for my Elesca assesment? If I could get hold of a template or, if some one can tell me what sort of stuff I need to put in it and any other paper work help would be appriciated. I will have my calibration certificate, Public liability insurance, EIC's, OSG, regs book, GN 3 book, Electricity at work act, is there anything else I need to have?

Any help would be great.

Unless it changed Jay all I did was have an A4 ledger which I divided up to into sections such as date complaint received, reference number given ie CP/01/01JAN11(date) nature of complaint, date logged into system, date of letter answering the complaint, date of letter back etc and then a folder with all the paperwork ie letters in it.

Can you not download the Health and Safety document.

Hi Malcolm,

I will have a look at downloading the H&S doc. I'm not in business yet so not had a complaint, just need a procedure for when I do get one. Not sure were to start with it.

Elecsa included sample of documents in the pack they sentme. I simple typed up my own complaints register, using Excel!

Thanks for the help. Did they let you notify the job you used for your assessment through them once you pased, or did you have to notify it through LABC? I only ask because I will be doing a cu change just before my assessment. The job is for my cousin and I will be doing it for free as I am using it for the assessment but I dont want to pay £240 to my LABC if I can simply notify it through Elesca once Ive passed the assessment.

Elecsa are normally OK about the notification happening after the assessment. In fact I can't remember the subject even coming up!
