Does the isolator have fuse protection in it?? Ie a switch fuse?? If it does it possibly is ok, dependant on length of run.

It is a switch fuse. Is there any other information that I can give that will help to decide if they both meet the regulations?
 
If it feeds a switch fuse, and is of adequate size the carry the current of the size of the fuse for the final circuit from the switchfuse then there is no issue. As it cannot draw more than this.
The run would need to be as short as possible though.
3m max I'd say.
