I really, REALLY dont want to paint my front room.

3.5m x 3.5m approx. 1 wall and ceiling need sealing first with 50/50 (just plastered) and then all walls and ceiling need 2 coats of paint! Plus a few water pipes glossed!

I have met a decent painter and decorater who is willing to swap for some electrical work in his house (dont know what type of electrical work yet though) and I'm just wondering if anyone knows roughly how much that job would cost. I'm completely guessing at around £250 but maybe £200, maybe £300???

Cheers chaps.. I thought perhaps it might be up around that mark.

A good plasterer and a good painter can really make a job. The finish is everything. I know we joke that if you can pi$$ you can paint and that's true but I know a few painters who are absolutely fantastic.
