Fire Alarm isolator switch has to be cabled in FP200 and connected directly into own RCD at distribution/consumer unitHi guys been asked to put a radial in for spurs for a fire alarm panel supply is it okay to use red FP200 to carry 230v? It doesn't have to be FP200 I could use MICC if need be and rcd protection I would be avoiding for such a circuit conditions permitting.Fire Alarm isolator switch has to be cabled in FP200 and connected directly into own RCD at distribution/consumer unit
What is it you are doing.I don’t know where the idea it isn’t 230v rated comes from. I’ve connected so many like this, usually in trunking or clipped direct to avoid need for RCD.
(A shared RCD is the thing to avoid at all costs)
I’ve got a MICC job next week and it’s sad that I’m really looking forward to it!
Moving a double socket in a listed building. What is it you are doing.
