First Payment from Swalec

Hi guys, my dad has his 3.9kw system installed on 4th december, everything was registered in plenty of time and he chose Swalec as his provider, everything went through fine and he got his paperwork, Swalec take meter readings ever quarter, the last quarter ended in November so we sent in the 1 month readings, i was talking to him today and he said he still has not received any money ? it works out he should get around £40, any ideas is there a minimum they will send out ?

would have thought he should have been paid by now

cant speak for swalec, but im with SSE and they can take upto 90days! hold tight it will come.

Yep, EDF take 80 out of their allowed 90 days to send there's through too. I have one wth EDF and one with Eon - Eon are loads more efficient, usually pay within a fortnight of giving them the reading.

We put in readings to Eon on 10th Jan and were advised that it would take 30-40 days for payment to appear.

My supplier is SSE and I emailed first quarters generation reading to them on 31st December and payment went into my account via BACS last week- so no complaints for now.
