Just recently acquired a 2005 Peugeot Expert and am considering security. Seems sensible to fit something like a Van Vault and am considering the Van Vault 2. Has anyone got any experience/anecdotes about fitting one of these in the 'Expert' (or Scudo or Dispatch)?

make sure you know where the brake pipes are under the floor before drilling.

Is that the voice of experience telectrix :)

Ideally the vault should be bolted to the chassis rails. Maybe even get someone to weld the threads on end of the bolts so it's not easy for the thieving g i t s to unbolt the vault from underneath!

Watch out for fuel lines and electric cables as well as brake pipes.

I had one in my dispatch fitted next to one of the side doors . You won't be able to access all bolts to put nuts on cos the fuel tank is in the way.

For mine I drilled and tapped the floor of the van to bolt it down .
