Hi, i'm shortly expecting an assessor from the NIC , I have to show him around three of the jobs Ive done. I have had to fill out generic test sheets, and was wondering if the assessor will want the works notified to building control, Ive spoken to building control and they want over £300 per job, this is something I simply cannot afford at the moment. Would be good to hear some of your experiences in this situation and perhaps some advice , Nick :)

Tell your assessor you have spoken to BC and they're happy for you to notify once part of a scheme.
