hi

ive been called by a local plumer to do job
what it is is a combi hes swapped and wants wiring centre changing as well as exrernal time clock/stat wiring
the combi he taken out already has all wiring there at present.
the thing is theres a mid valve, frost stat and wiring centre.
the combi has a internal clock on it already.
what im struggling with is i connected in the boiler to the exsisting wiring centre but there was no way i could control by external clock
any ideas??

There will be a a lnk in the combi to remove to enable external timer.

yeah ive removed link and connected my witch live to one of them
in my wiring centre to boiler i have live, neutral, switch live and also eath
its one of those honeywell pre wired wiring centres

so am i missing something simple here and being thick or is there somrthing a miss here

cheers

Watch your step and read the manual CAREFULLY some of these combi,s use either volt free or 24 volt on the control side and the boards are expensive,go some where quiet light a smoke and read the manual.
