Discuss High Ze on TNCS in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

I did a test on a domestic property today.
the Ze I measured was 0.60
this is above the maximum permitted that is 0.35 for a tncs system.
I coded it a c2 as the Ccu was a 17th edition dual rcd type.
do I have to notify the electrical supplier of this high reading? And have I coded it right?
any help would be very greatful. Thanks

Thanks
if they won't come out what do I have to do? Is it my duty as being the last electrician on site to get this sorted ASAP ?

Ask to speak to the duty engineer otherwise you'll spend an hour trying to talk technical to someone who doesn't actually give a damn.

it needs sorting. phone DNO and ask for the duty engineer. nobody else will have a clue. they have a duty to maintain the earthing at 0.35 or less

Assuming the test leads and tester are ok? Have you confirmed the result with a second tester wouldn't want to look a idiot
