Hi all,
I need to know that if we have to install motor and a pumping set how would we know that how much horse power motor should b installed?

Have you tried Googling it?

All pumps should come with manufacturers data. You need to refer to the graphs they give you of how the shaft power varies with the head pressure and suction pressure. Find the point on the graph where your particular system will be running then allow a safety margin for your worse case scenario.
