I have 2 arrays on 2 SMA inverters. One is 500v single string and the other is paralleled 2 x 300v strings.
I have just lost one of my arrays via SMA 2500. It is lit but no power generation. I replaced with spare Steca which would not work as it needs more PV voltage so I had to swop over the arrays so steca gets 500v (single string) and the SMA 3000 get 2 x 300v parallel. Steca then starts up but the SMA 3000 will not connect to grid. So the orignal inverter was probably OK and it is the PV input which is not right. Both inverters are conneted up to generation meter to CU so grid input is 100% OK. I definitely have 300v on each string into SMA 3000 but it will not go to "mon" it stays "waiting" so it is not accepting the PV input and not connecting to grid. This happened very recently. Been working fine for some years. We had some storms recently but cant see any issues from this. If inverters are OK and I have voltage it can only be the current is not there? I didn't attempt to short circuit the strings to use clamp meter as sun was out. Any ideas ??

Hi,do you have the string test parameters, applicable to your panels, for OC voltage and SC current?
