Hi all,

Long term lurker first time poster here, on the cards electrician.

Just looking for a little advice on installing 4 extra sockets and led down lights in a kitchen extention.

Would this work be notifiable if both were installed off of existing circuits? Or would a minor works for each suffice.

If notifiable LABC require £300 for the privialage, so joining ELECSA is cheaper.

If I do decide to go down the elecsa route, could i use this job for the assement or does it need to be a job which i have already previously notified LABC about?

Cheers

if you are not installing a new circuit, it's not notifiable.

Re your last paragraph, you could use for your £440 plus vat assessment, although it's useful to have more than one actual job to have in hand for viewing.

Thanks for replies,

Thought as much, just wasn't too sure as it is an extension.

I have a few little jobs they could see but will probably leave it for a while now.

Cheers
