length of meter tails

hello, ive recently tested a house where the main tails ran quite a distance! is there a regulation for max tail length still as it used to be 2m???

Length normally set by DNO generally accepted to be 3mtr can be any length if fused.

Unless it specifically breaches a Regulation in BS7671 then you couldn't apply any Recommendation Code to it.

its more of a dno requirement and nothing to do with regs, so i wouldnt code it

Been in a property where the supply head and meter were in one of them white boxes on the outside of the property and the tails were swa, and run to the D.B. under the stairs about 10 metres away. Didn't seem to be an issue with either EDF or the installer.
