Hi,

Just want clarity on earthing conductor sizing. I know the table but wanted to know what people recommend about a earthing conductor within a PVC/PVC cable, is this earth big enough for the new board or run a separate earth at least half the Line conductor ( rule of thumb )

Thanks

I take it that you mean the tails to the CU. More info is required earthing arrangement ! What do you mean by rule of thumb.

Hi thanks for the response. I mean when someone sub feeds a board in PVC/PVC cable is the earth big enough. The rule of thumb is the earth must be at least half the Line conductor so PVC/PVC cables wouldn't meet it.

Thanks
