my uncle had one of these old cars sitting on a SORN and 2 years ago a local person decided to "borrow" it to drive to the nearest city, it was taxed and MOT'd but no insurance and it got him pulled over at the first ANPR , uncle got a visit from plod who told him it was his fault as he did not leave it secured minus keys, was told to sign it over at station and it was disposed of by them ....think it got crushed as per standard procedure....
