Q. I am starting a new company primarily installing PV and am currently waiting for an assessment date. Based in Poole with remote office in southampton I am looking for an electrician with all the PV criteria as my Q.S. Where would be the best place to find someone to start as a sub contractor with the possibility of coming on board later?

Any advice grateful.

Thanks...

Hey Dude!

Try the recruitment agency they are currently offering £150 per install which includes free training! What a shambles!

I would have thought that anyone who is already qualified would be looking to do their own work. If you've got a good electrician it doesn't take long to make them competent at PV, 1 week if you want to include working at heights etc.

Thanks for the replies. Dic which agencies have you seen offering £150 per install. The problem I have, like so many, is starting up using sub contractors until work picks up. I was told the QS needs to be the same person so using a company with a number of sparkys is not ideal. Thanks....
