I can fit 16 Sanyo panels (just) onto the available roof area so can get close to the 4Kw max. for the best FIT.
As I understand it the 2 latest Sanyo panels are the HIT-H250E01 or HIT-N240SE10.
I'm being told by my preferred installer that quite apart from the cost being less for the 240, its characteristics mean that, in reality, the power output over the year wont be appreciably different from the 250. I cant glean enough from the Sanyo spec sheets and wonder whether its simply a case of what the guy has in stock.
Does anyone have a view on whether the 240 will be much different, in Yorkshire, in reality from the 250?

I'll try that soon as I can, but currently on a dial up connection in rural France so its not practicable.

16 x 250's gives 3455 kWh
16 x 240's gives 3400 kWh

or 1.6% less with the 240's

-sounds like your guy was correct if the panels are significantly lower in cost
