Discuss Structural Calcs in the Solar PV Forum | Solar Panels Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

You must supply evidence that the roof structure is capable of withstanding the loads (wind and static loads) that will be imposed by the PV modules and their mounting arrangements. You will need a copy of BRE489, which i believe is just a few sheets.
Does anyone have a spare copy?

BRE 489 for wind loads on roof-based systems
BRE 495 for static loads
Has anyone got a spare copy of BRE 495 also?
