Just been through my phone and found some pics of things I have found on a few jobs....

DSC_0046.jpgThis was found in a bugalow stuffed in a wall, but to be fair it did have tape around the joints.
DSC_0065.jpgThis is a classic, but they did use brown sleeve.
DSC_0066.jpgFound in a loft, same place as the switch above.
DSC_0070.jpgNeeded a plug top once, as you do some times and found out why the heater had never worked..
 
I can imagine even a plumber wiring a plug properly, just makes you wonder what sort of tool did that. Do we reckon thats what they teach on the ... :lipsrsealed2: :38:

The thing is Mark, we were taught to connect plug tops up, my oldest brother taught me and the lesson was repeated in physics when we were studying electricity so how someone can make such a pigs ear of it is beyond me.

i mean its not even reverse polarity is it...lol all three conductors are in the wrong pins...lol..
its like someone went out of their way to do it divvy....lol
 
Its completley terrible, like you say - they've literally got every connection wrong. Like trev says even kids can get that right.

...but seein as though glenn's warned me, i won't go their in this thread lol.
