HI ALL

COUPLE OF Q. PLEASE (be gentle , still learning)
SCENARIO WHEN U HAVE 2 D.B. -
ONE IS COMMUNAL ,13 WAY
AND THE OTHER D.B. IS FOR GARAGES (8 WAY ) CONNECTED FROM COMMUNAL DB ( SWA 4mm )
PROTECTED WITH RCBO , 20 A.

WHEN U TEST THE SUB D.B. (GARAGES), WHAT DO U WRITE UNDER " PARTICULARS OF THE INSTALLATION AT THE ORIGIN " ON EIC ,PLEASE.

THE GARAGE DB HAS 60947-3 (2 POLE) AS A MAIN SWITCH AND RCD 61008-1 NEXT TO IT.

PLEASE, WHAT WOULD YOU WRITE ON EIC UNDER " MAIN SWITCH OR CIRCUIT BREAKER"

CAN U USE 1 EIC FOR BOTH OF THEM OR U HAVE TO USE 2 SEPERATE EIC

(I trying not to sound very stupid)

THX .IN ADV.

hi hope this helps
1.As it is all one installation you would use one eic
2.Your main switch or circuit breaker would be the main switch in db1 as db2 is fed from there
3.particulars of the installation would be the same for doth dbs as installation only has one origin

One schedule of circuit details per db
One schedule of test results per db

So for two Dbs you will have two schedule of circuit details and two schedule of test

Characteristics/inspection etc just need to do one set with the characteristics been talking from the main db controlling the sub db.
