Switch and socket Heights

Hi

Currently having an extension can I put switches and sockets in the same height as existing points in property or have new switches and sockets got to go in at 1200 and 450 to comply with building regs.

Yeah anywhere you like as long as its not prone to accidental damage or water ingress.

Part M which covers socket/switch heights etc. only applies to new builds and material changes. There is a specific exemption for extensions.
