it's got three cables going into it and I has a fuse, possibly German, it sits in a cupboard in a bed room any ideas

a boor dell??? methinks could be some german intrusive plot to get us to stray in the urine union. a polt worthy of old uncle adolph.
 
Ah, tis the evil Crackle box.
It must be destroyed.

We anyway, follow the cables and see what's connected to it.
Looks like it's trapped behind a wardrobe or vanity unit side panel.
 
Agree with George and Doomed - aerial amp for my money. See if there are any coax cables connected to the TVs that match the colour of the ones connected to that box.
