Who to notify when fitting new DB?

Hi guys,I have just bought a house and its got an old distribution board so I am going to change it to a new one,I'm not registered with any schemes as I am working in maintenance at moment, I have 2330 L2 and L3 and 17th Edition. Who if anyone do I have to notify about this work?

Legally the local authority building control and they will want a payment off you this has to be done before work starts unless urgent. Be prepared to part with about £150.
