unable to discuss plumbers without risking a ban, so i'll keep quiet on this one.

The plumbers have always been very friendly and accommodating on the few occasions I've been over there for advice so welcome to the sparky hangout Bod.:17:

So you have come over to say you will no longer fit 9kw showers on a 3036 (rewireable fuse) and leave the poor spark who has to tell the customer that the cable will have to be upgraded as the stupid plumber knows Boy Scout (nowt) about cable sizes lol

I like to run a 9kw shower on 2.5t&e and wrap the cable a few times around the towell rail.
This serves a dual purpose of allowing me to undercut the sparks prices and gives the customer a nice warm towell to dry off with.
Happy days :)

I smell a rat !
Giving a customer the added bonus of a towel radiator , and not at a absorbent inflated price to boot ??? Come on are you really a plumber !:shocked3:

I have always said that you can not beat a pipe jockey with a sense of humour .:13:
Well you can , but you still won't get any sense out of them !:wink5:

What tape would a plumber recommend for repairing the pipes up against the floorboards that I cut through? I've tried insulation tape but it starts to leak before I can get out of the front door...

You need PTFE tape Strima, someone told me it stands for Poly Tetra Flouro Ethylene. I reckon it's really Plumber's Tape, For Ends

Tried that but it's not very sticky, I like sticky...
