Just stick it on a bit of 6mm with a 32A MCB, it will be fine.
If they are spending £2K plus on an oven they probably going out somewhere for Xmas lunch.........I'm sure it would be in normal use, but come Xmas it may warm the 32amp up a bit.
IMHO Manufacturers shouldn't be stating cable size. What's to say that rangemaster isn't installed at the other end of a mansion, 75m away and the cable runs through insulation most of it's route. We have a rangemaster with a rating of 17.7 kW the manufacturers instructions say 6mm cable and 32a breaker

They'll have a "must be installed by a competent electrician to relevant regs" or something to that effect in there as well to cover themselves. Just find it daft they have stated cable sizeFair point but they did .......

Fact that it is 85a rating will at least need to be 16mm2 cable but would probably go with 25mm in case any future increases. Also will need to check your main switch as you may need to upgrade your distribution board as your house would potentially be running about 140 to 160a if everything running at full capacity so if using standard 100 or 125a single phase breaker as main switch will cause it to blow a lot when cooker being used
