Hello,

If anyone has done their practical can they give me some indication as to where the faults are.
Apparently there are about 30 faults on 20 odd circuits on a board.Have found a couple of easy ones
so far with no continuity.Are there any polarity and insulation resistance faults?

Is this the one were they switch the faults into the circuit and give you a little card?

This one has a bank of switches controling each circuit and no card that i know of.
Any idea whether the switches have the circuits identified?

cont, ir, polarity, visual faults. all straight forward enough to find. a couple of faults on the s trappers. there are no live faults they are all on the dead test. when you come to the live testing all the faults will have been turned off.

With your beepers just make sure that all conductors go were they are meant to go as most of mine were loss of supply due to no cont on a conductor or no cpc at point because of same reason and reversed polarity. Don't think I had any insulation faults on mine.
