Accessing Qualification Certs Copies

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me who the best contact would be to order replacement certificates.

From 1994 - 1999 I gained the following qualifications:

* City & Guilds Levels 1 & 2 (the numbers 236 come to mind)
* NVQ Levels 2 & 3
* AM 1 & 2
* 16th Edition Wiring Regulations

Basically I am looking for something, that if required I can provide which proofs that I am qualified, I have been working as a self employed electrician for the last 15 years and served my apprenticeship before that with an employer.

I am based in Northern Ireland.

Spoke with the College and they are going to send the certificates to me; have been speaking to ECS/JIB about an "Installation Electrician Gold Card" and they say that with my qualifications and references for work done over the past 3 years, I need a current H&S certificate.
Can anyone tell me if there are any other institutions that do online assessments that are acceptable to the ECS as there nearest test centre to me is a 200 mile round trip.

There won't (shouldn't) be an online test.
It could be anyone doing it, not you.

I've just done a CITB Health and Safety / Environmental test in a Centre, Photo I.D and almost a strip search to get in.

Was hoping there would be a simpler route for what as far as I can see is a very simple test.
I guess I'll have to allocate a day for it. :sad_smile:
