A question asked by a customer, when I explained the logistics involved in moving the current one.
My mind went to Schneider Easy 9 but I thought I'd consult the wisdom of you fine bunch!

Well "best looking" is subjective so give them a few photos of kit you are prepared to work with and let them choose.
Fine advice. Thank you!
If it can be flush mounted Hager design 50.

I actually like the Hager design 10 it's square edged but TBH I prefer it too the easy 9 which looks IMHO a bit cheap and cheerful.
Flush mounted not an option, old house, enough nightmares already!
I think your comment helps reinforce the subjectivity. Thanks.

I fitted an Easy9 on a job a while back and was quite taken with it stylistically.

I fitted one at my old bosses house, looks like a biscuit tin but you can ditch the logo strip as it is magnetic.

Yeah - I've always liked them. I've fitted one in a log cabin and the customer said "That is a thing of beauty!"

I like the magnetic lid, and the fact the din rail is bang in the middle so you can fit the lid to hinge up or down (and either move the silver logo strip or ditch it)
Clearly we've proved they aren't everyone's cup of tea though!

Last time i fitted an easy9, was there not an option of getting a front lid that could be painted... or an insert that you could put in matching wallpaper to the wall it was going on???

Or did I dream that?

You can order magnetic covers with your own design. I fitted one that is very visible in a farmhouse. The customer has photos of the view from the house taken over the 4 seasons and changes them throughout the year!
