Is it possible to overcome shading with a 10 x 235w panel 2.35kW system with by-pass diodes? some panels come with by-pass diodes installed also. can someone help with pulling together pros and cons aswell?

This is a rather general question.

It depends how much shading you are likely to get. Is it seasonal? Will it only affect during the early morning/late evening? By-pass diodes will help but they throw up their own problems. From what I hear, they malfunction often.

If shading only affects part of the array, consider using two seperate strings - be sure you adjust your inverter choice to suit.
