please help, I want a career change cos I'm stuck in a boring underpaid job.

I've been thinking about becoming a doctor, cos I've heard that they get paid like, loads of money.

I'll do a first aid course and get a stethoscope, and then I was thinking of getting some unpaid experience by volunteering at a local hospital firm pushing old people around wards.

Surely someone will notice my excellent pushing skills then give me start.

After a few years i'll be qualified to diagnose and write prescriptions?

Think about it folks.

LOL....LMFAO.....HA HA HA HA HA.......PMSL........:sifone: THESE FAST TRACKER GOONS CAN'T SEE WHAT'S WRONG WITH THEM DOING A SCAM COURSE AND THEN BEING LET LOOSE ON SOME POOR UNSUSPECTING PENSIONERS HOUSE AND BASICALLY ROBBING THEM BLIND AND LEAVING A FIRST YEAR APPRENTICE JOB BEHIND!!!

Blue teeth? holy moly batman, I should be thinking about becoming a dentist. They are paid LOADS od money. Yes, this is what I'll do.

Buy a toothbrush and some paste... And do a short mouthwash course, then in a few weeks of unpaid handholding in a local dentists firm, I'll be able to do extractions and fillings?

Do I need the 1234 to be able to perform root canal work?

no the root canal work is the 15236 level 3 and takes 2 years! not 2 weeks like you 1234 but if you prove competence to the National Inspection Council for Dental Contracting (NICDC) you can sign work off to the NHS.. alternatively get a mate from a rival dentist to sign you off

Those doctor courses dont come cheap
Doctoring is fast becoming a sectioned off proffesion unfortunately
You will need your basic first aid badge before the BMA will accept you on their register
This will allow you to go to peoples homes with your new BMA badge and fix broken arms and give the babys measles jabs

Only with experience will you be permitted to carry out full medicals, the BMA will want to see a previous medical you have carried out,if the patient is still alive obviously

If you do get your BMA approved.it means you can employ first aid badge holders to do most of those medicals,as long as you write the prescriptions out yourself

Hospitals will only accept BMA approved doctors (who employ mostly first aid badge holders) to do the surgery
This is strctly adhered to by the hosplital trust, even though there are many consultant surgeons with high qualification and experience who are looking for an operating theartre to take them on.if they aint BMA they dont get a look in

With things as they are it is probably easier and better to try your hand at the criminal industry
Overall it is better respected and there is much more help for the beginner
Once you are competent the rewards are high, example most MPs are paid high salaries and get unlimited housing benefits and travelling expenses
Difficult choice I know, but the country has to be fair to all occupations
