Hi I’m in the middle of installing a 2500kw cooker, I have an existing cooker circuit with 6mm cable on a 32Amp breaker with a spur coming of the cooker switch to a double socket which I assume fed the old cooker on a plug top!
My question is:
Can I replace the double socket with an terminal unit to wire cooker to?
And if so do I use 6mm cable? (same as circuit cable)
Or do I do what 2 sparks have told me to do and put a 13Amp plug top on and simply plug it in the socket spur from cooker switch? ( don’t want to do that,,)
Thank you
