There's no need for you to go to all that trouble when I can lend you mine on an indefinite loan completely free of charge.

Just remember there's normally a fee to use one and secondly do you have a good 3G signal everywhere?

Go for the "pay as you go" system first and if you find you take lots of payment this way, give them a bell to upgrade.

Sunup is a pay as you go service I think the rate is 1.29% per transaction

Why don't people just ask the customer to make a electronic bank transfer? No charges to either party that way neither.

If it's a new costumer you are doing a job and not collecting any money and trusting them to transfer payments and not all people have online banking. Can you trust them to pay you

Not all customers have online banking & my business bank charge for all transactions.

As I said all transactions, even if I transfer money around internally.
I'm not taking about loads of money but yes there's alway changes where a business bank account is involved.

I've just checked what I pay for:

paying in cheques
visits to branch

everthing else, in or out, electronically is "free"

I do have a £5.00 fee as well

How do you know they are going to pay be card if you have that facility once you have completed the works?

You ask them what way they are going to pay before you start and give them a rough idea of the cost the card option is incase the don't have enough cash or a cheque book and factor the costs of taking cards into you prices
